Getting started

Lapseguard watches the things that quietly take a site down — SSL certificates, domain registrations, DNS records, and uptime — and warns you before they lapse, with time to fix them quietly.

Create your organization

When you sign up, Lapseguard creates an organization for you automatically. Everything you monitor — domains, settings, and teammates — lives under that organization.

Add your first domain

1. Open Domains from the sidebar.
2. Paste one or more domains, or upload a CSV.
3. Lapseguard validates and de-duplicates them, then starts checking right away.

What the alerts mean

Lapseguard warns you 30, 14, 7, and 1 days before an SSL certificate or domain registration expires, and alerts you when a site goes down or its DNS records change. Configure where those alerts go in Notifications & Slack.
