Channels

Open Settings → Notifications to choose where alerts go. You can enable email and Slack, and send a test to confirm each channel is working before you rely on it.

Creating a Slack webhook

  1. In Slack, go to api.slack.com/apps → Create New App → From scratch.
  2. Enable Incoming Webhooks.
  3. Click Add New Webhook to Workspace and pick the channel alerts should post to.
  4. Copy the webhook URL.
  5. Paste it into Settings → Notifications and turn on Slack alerts.

Keep notifications on for that channel in the Slack mobile app to get pinged instantly.

Alert timing

Lapseguard sends expiry warnings 30, 14, 7, and 1 days before an SSL certificate or domain registration lapses, plus alerts for downtime and DNS changes as they happen.
